Barcelona?
By: Kirby | July 23rd, 2009
Looks like our boy is on his way to Spain. Today he said his goodbyes to his Inter teammates and flew to Sweden to sign some papers. The apparent deal for Ibra that Inter and Barca made is: 40m+Eto’o+Hleb. As an Inter fan i am deeply saddened by it all, but as an Ibra fan I’m happy he’s off on a new adventure. Hopefully he rips La Lega a new one when he reaches over there. Well i guess all i can say is thank you for all the hard work you put in over the past few years. You’ll never be forgotten by us over here at Inter. Arrivederci Ibra! Per sempre nei nostri cuori!!!

I honestly think this a better deal for Inter. Eto is a very good striker, although there will be questions over his motivation and commitment. Hleb is a fine player, probably unfortunate that he had very stiff competition that kept him on the bench.
At any rate I will be interested to see how Ibra goes in Spain. He’s certainly a player who arouses debate concerning his actual ability level.
